To see all the Fleet progression, I have made an Exell board.
You could have some infos about the 1901 LD.
Minor modifs are always possible.

This table is very useful to see which style of fleet is building.
What are the options chosen, progressions and consistency of the whole.

that actualy is kind of interesting jef, after I posted the things I have about our outsized ships I decided that perhaps I should consider a smaller BB which I have been playing with (not that I have come up with anything I liked just yet but its an interesting exersize anyway)

The choice for 1901 is not finalised.
8xAC5 & 6xCP7 could be probably changed...

I was just taking a look at this thread today (bored) and saw that some people were considering smaller BBs.  Then I look at the sim reports for 1900 and the sizes of the ships under construction and I see the UK laying down 4 20,000t vessels.

Quote...I see the UK laying down 4 20,000t vessels.

81 BPs for UK.
UK built tall hulls 15 000t - 20 000t with classic PDN armament - 4x12"+12x234
The interrest of this choice is a very high survivability.

Better choice for medium countries, around 60BPs is to built 14 000t BPs with 3T2x12" to have similar boardside.

If you want a superior boardside, built smaller PDN 2x10 000t PDN for example with 2T2x12" each.
Then, you engage the 20 000t -2T2x12" with 2 x 10 000t and...4T2x12"
Use them ala Harwood & good luck...

I actualy considerd more or less just that Jef.  My reduced size BB came in around 9500 tons light, but I decided it was to small and not capable enough (outside the med anyway).  Personaly I have to realy fight myself to keep my hsips reasonable size... I have a tendancy to either make them OMFG HUGE or WTF TINY

The AT3s you've shown in your encyclopedia and in the New Ships section are a bit more lightly armed: 3x 140mm, 2 x 100mm.

Jefgte

4x140 or 3x140
4x140 is a typo mistake.
