Selling BP

Iberia will be selling BP in 1900 H2, the amount is not finalized but should be around 5-7 BP (although if the offer is good enough the amount sold can go beyond that).

Doesn't it sound crazy that Iberia would sell BP? Regardless I would prefer to give this to allies, but everyone has a chance (especially if they have a substantial better offer). This offer is open from now to whenever the next budget is due!

It should also be noted that any construction bids that are wanted for UK yards need to be into me ASAP. I may have 1-2 class 2 slips available (Logi, my PM did not count the ones I am upgrading in H1, appologies), but RN construction gets priority and I need some more big ships. If the previous half is a guide, I will have about 5 BP that can be used, so start the bidding but note Domestic projects get priority. I will get a "harder" number up ASAP.

Same goes for Germany. I have a lot of yards and production available.

Heh.  I've got to suspect that, if the Iberians and Austrians are selling BP, there's not going to be much of a market for them.

The problem with growth-based economies is that they have almost no need for BP (in fact since BP can only be spent militarily that makes them a bad thing to spend) so I'm in quite a pickle.

I do think I can sell more BP than anyone else though (ironically). My current projection (having done preliminary sim reports from 1900 H1 to 1904 H1) is 12.8 to 10 BP free in 1900 H2.

Since this amount of free BP is consistent in my report I'll be selling enough to buy a UK or Italia size BB. Someone is bound to need something like that right?

If not I'll need to find a way to open a cash market in which I sell cash for favors  ???

KWorld

Nah, you won't have more to sell than anyone.  The US will probably have (depending on Canal costs, if I build one) at least 20 BP available every half-year.

Logi

I guess then there is an over-saturation of BP in the global economy. Anyone want cash in exchange for favors then? It seems cash is the more critical commodity in the current climate.

KWorld

At least at the moment, it certainly seems like cash is what's limited, not BP.

Japan is willing to discuss loans...

Italia would also likley be willing to Discuss Loans... Honestly I have cash to spare outside my own needs for internal investment.
