The stacked turrets on USS Kearsarge and USS Virginia weren't glowing successes, but they weren't that bad, either.

Personaly I never liked that layout (for starters it just looks funky) but it might give you a jumpstart on the SF layout style (for this mod atleast it would depend on the quality of the storyline and you showing what I felt was a beliveable liniar progression)
