Gamemaster Staff

So up until this point, I have with the help of all of you, been organizing this all by myself. As we get closer to the game start, I fell it is necessary to ask the community how they feel about having only one gamemaster/mod/all-powerful-arbiter (I jest on the last one). How do you all feel about this? Does the community want to have a triumvirate of gamemasters/mods, is the current setup working, or is there another option someone has in mind?

A 3 man crew worked the best IMHO.  That way there were 2 guys to temper one that might say want to have a giant Volcano blow up in someones capital (N2 vets know what im refering to here)

You need esentialy
1 Writer: a guy that likes to write stories and is unwilling to let the rules get in the way of a truely epic story arc.
1 Rules Master: esentialy the oposite number of the writer he gets on some level the rules necessary for a sim to function
1 Arbitrator: to keep the other 2 from killing each other.

I have made my points, as to picking people to fit the various roles i'm not much help im afraid all I could realy offer is perhaps this.

Snip: the Moderator (already a mod so no big deal there)
Nobody: Rules guy (he has had some great imput in the various rules proposal threads, even if we didnt take all of it)

OK, something to add here.

I have reached a personal decision about the two individuals of the community who I wish to join me on the Gamemaster staff. One is very much a story-driven player, and the other has such a mind for economics and other such numbers that it would be a shame not to include him. Throughout the rule-tweeking process, nobody has been more forthcoming with ideas and turring the best of them into changes to the rules then Nobody *rimshotforthepun*. By far one of the most experienced players here, Tanthalas brings to the table a desire for simplicity in the rules that has severed as a exilent counterarument to many proposals that lead to them being the ideal blend that I have strived for since day one of N5.

That all being said, I officialy nominate Nobody and Tanthalas to join me as Gamemasters. Comments from the community?

I think Nobody is an excelent choice, and I will atleast atempt to do the job...

Hm well... I'm feel honored, but I'm not very fond of the idea being a mod, but if you keep asking me so nicely, I'll try to give it a shot.
