To big IMO. Build more REs instead as they are good enough against all current ACs and you have friends building "proper" ones.
You smug-faced crowds with kindling eye
Who cheer when solider lads march by
Sneak home and pray that you'll never know
The hell where youth and laughter go.

Agree that the 25 knot ships are to big, it was just a what would it take to comparison.  I am planing to jump to AQY but that will be esentialy the only change in the REs from the prestartup ones.

This has me a bit confused...

Is it 2 twins, 2 triples or 3 twins? I'm thinking triples aren't allowed yet so 2 or 3 twins.

Given previous statements that Italy will be going to AQY layouts, I'd expect 3 twins, yes.

Oh I would absolutly love to use tripples, but nice catch its suposed to be 3 twins.  Honestly I wish we could use tripples right out the gate for dreadnaught style ships, then I would go AQY with tripples, as a simple evolution of my previous AQY ships with twins (make dreadnaughts a whole evolutionary thing instead of revolutionary per OTL)
