Hmmmmm.  Some sort of odd CSS Virginia follow-on, maybe?  I don't know that there's enough deck space for all the casemates and deck guns and torpedo tubes, some might have to go up or down.  The upper belt is also odd in that it's so short.

Jefgte

The ram & the 7.65 turrets had the main protection, 5"9
The middle & the aft part had only 3"9.

There's no aft turret so, the deck place could be enough.

An interresting study drawing to do...

You've got 229 feet of length, minus 25.5 feet of stern and forecastle, so 203 feet of useful length.  The bow chaser won't use any of this, so that's good.  Your casemate 7.65" guns will use about 60 feet of useful length, you're down to 143.  Each of the 3.95" guns need a minimum of 24', so you're down to 71.  Each of the torpedo tubes will use 24' or so, so you're down to 25'.  Tight, but it will fit, though the gunners on the 3.95" guns and the torpedo tubes will be very vulnerable to an HE burst, and fire at targets aft of the centerline by the 7.65" gun is not recommended while the 3.95" guns are manned.

Jefgte

much numbers...
:)

Side 7'65 couldnt fire aft. they fire front & 150-160° side.
3"9 are installed en echelon - they are vs TBs.

This ship placed at the end of the line is made to run vs a slow damaged BBs with 12" disabled.
She could fire 3x7"65 when she run.

If the drawing deck space is too cramped, I remove 2x3"9...

Main battery and speed are fine for the role.  Main belt is OK as well, and I suppose the end & upper belts are viable against HE/common rounds from small guns.  The concern I'd have with this ship is the secondary battery: it's fine for dealing with colonial threats, but if the ship ever has to fight against torpedo boats, the lack of tubes might become a problem.
