Which I knew *starts lobying campain for a USS Cheyene* on a slightly diferent note, and I thought I was getting out there with 13.5K light ACs... Also you might want to consider somthing diferent for the layout, I went ABY because I was convinced (ok ok so snip yelled at me enough that I reluctantly agreed) that AQY proly wouldnt fit with the necessary Huge as Engines.

KWorld, I find your choice of name erm, "intriguing".

It's named for the capital of the state of North Dakota.  :)

If you look closely, none of the USN 3-turret designs are AQY (though the BBs could probably manage it), they're all AXY with the aft turrets back to back (a la USS Delaware.

Tanthalas

AHHH that would work (I hadnt realy looked) my own AQY is more like Derflinger (or atleast thats how I envision the layout)

??  Derfflinger was an ABsXsY........

#93
aBQy true story (actualy it wasnt a true Q or X as one engine room was aft and one foreward of the turret in question)...  The Iron Dog is one of my favorite ships of all time (I even have a fully acurate Spring Sharp of her)

Fairly sure the maximum allowed TB is 1.5" man... other than that looks good.

Yeesh, shouldn't be there at all.....  And just a reminder, Strengthened Bulkheads don't work correctly in SS3b3, we need to always use Additional Bulkheads instead.

I use Strengthend till I have actual TBs anyway, mostly just cause I get sick of changing the distance while im working on a ship.  on another note, I havnt messed with BCs much at all (or dreadnaughts for that matter) I know where I will be in like 1907 but not exactly how I will bridge from Predreads to Dreads.

I note the oL: 184m & the high speed: 25kts...

1907... wait & see

The problem with Strengthened Bulkheads is that they just move tonnage around, rather than adding any additional weight: the weight added by the bulkheads is just subtracted from the hull weight, you're not actually adding any weight.  They're, effectively, free.

Tanthalas

Oh I know I was one of the first (here anyway) to realise that.  once im puting actual bulkheads in (aka adding a Torpedo bulkhead which im a huge beliver in btw) I switch (like on the ship im about to post which when I make her rules compliant I dont like nearly as much)
