Under the current rules, you should delete the torpedo references from the Weapons tab and change your miscellaneous weight to 11 tons (6 tons for the rotating tubes & torps, 3 more for the fixed torps, and 2 for your extra lifeboat).

By treaty, she's a (small) destroyer, because of her normal displacement being over 500 tons.  Other than that, looks OK, I'm a little dubious about the superfiring forward guns, though.  When did those appear historically in small, fast vessels?

Jefgte

QuoteWhen did those appear historically in small, fast vessels?
Inspired from the 1900 german TB with TT before the bridge.
So, 2 mounts with 2TT before the bridge are comming from my head  ;)

The torpedo tubes in front of the bridge are fine, those aren't in question.  It's the superfiring forward 75mm that I'm wondering about.

Jefgte

Superfiring forward... about 1914-1916 I think on the bigger DDs
...
So, TB3 is over the 500t limit.
I must cut down somethings...

It appears to have been in 1915, with the Parker or Improved Marksman-class destroyer leaders of the RN: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parker_class_leader.

Walter

Something like that, but that's only the case with mounts like these...

... those on the TB3 look more like enclosed turrets like these...

Jefgte

On 500t TB , thats mounts overload probably foredeck & give too much constraints (stress) on the forepart of the hull.

How bad would the blast effects be on the lower gun crew? Did the extra deck length take the brunt of it?
