I prefer a high and aggressive bow, not a low bow, which raises the water on deck. The fore gun/turret is  protected by a breakwater whose effect is accentuated by the lower deck.

AQY with turreted secondaries isn't legal, I don't think, the secondaries on AQY ships have to be casemates (at least at game-start).  That's my understanding of the rules, anyway.

You would be correct, but deck mounts with no hoists are legal as well.

Jef, I'm curious why are you using "2 row twin mounts"? That would mean the barrels are on top of each other - I think.

No problemo, I change T2x164 to casemates.
(But for the drawing, 2T2 back to back would be original. Casemates are too classic.)

Bad SS choice for T2
"Twin mount" is certainly correct.

>:( Problemo in the logical tonnage progression for the BBs plan.

I don't understand why we could'nt have:
1904 BB with 2T2x12"+4T2x240 & 1906 BB with 3T2x12"+4T2x240
just add 1T2x12" !!!

I could not built my plan, I must rework again& find an other logical progression...

Ok, I reject the Danton styl BB with T2x240/50cal shell 220kg.
I adopt an other concept with 2 "bridge castle" fore & aft with 194mm in casemates around.

When I generate a Springsharp for 4 450mm/5.62m torpedoes, I get (in the Distribution of weights section) a weight of 6 tons, not 3 tons.   The torps themselves might weigh 2.779 tons (as shown on the Weapons page), but there's also the tubes, sights, crew & quarters, etc.

Jefgte

Ok, that's not 2.985t under lenght value...

I wouldn't have noticed this, but since I use 2 twin 450mm/6m tubes on my TBs, I remembered that they seemed to weigh more than 3 tons, so I went and checked my design.  Yep, 6 tons.
