I've got a lot of flags if anyone needs one- or am open to doing commissions upon request. I've got plenty of flags that could be used for NPC's as well.

DF - I really like the first one... but it's just a little too dark.
A lighter color scheme would really make for a cool flag; if you're interested, I have a small one that I made for Mexico you can muck around with in MSPaint.

Texas flag has the blue strip all the way down. It's confusing...

Star is properly centered, blue stripe is right width, fleur-de-lis is in the upper stripe, and the castle (representing Spanish heritage) is in the lower stripe.

Very nice! I like the gold emblem in the center, and the darker color gives it a contrast that it would lack if you went with the traditional colors of the Mexican flag.

Metals on metals are a NO-NO when making flags!

I personally like the gold on plain black, I'll probably use it as the naval battle standard.

I think it looks better with black instead of grey, definately looks more sinister:

I think Tan's hit it right on the head. I'm not too keen on expressing the Spanish heritage, considering that at this point in time they should be a distinct second or third in terms of population status.
