Let's see- last year it rained until June...but not hard. Just a miserable spring.
This year we've only got 50 inches, a bit over normal, but I've seen 80-100 here.
So it's not a bad rain year.

Snow...we actually had a little. Then it went away again.
I rather wish we got more/stuck so there could be a local ski place, right now its ~5-6hrs to a ski resort.
Of course my buddy in Tahoe is sick of the snow.

We had snow the other day here in buffalo but it basically stuck only to cars and exposed metal objects. Everything else melted immediately.

Then we had to day in the Mid 70's F and sunny shorts weather. But now back to 40' and 50' F and rain.

Typical Buffalo weather if you dont like it wait a day it will change.

Well the weather report went from clear to showers to rain...and then clear. Had sprinkles one evening, that was all.
So all the snow was pre-existing, but that was the plan.

Is that Sequoia NP or somewhere around?

Yeah, that was Sequoia NP. Not one of the really big trees though. Had to be in Fresno, so while I was there drove through Sequoia, Kings Canyon and Yosemite NPs. Not as much snow in Yosemite as I wanted, but the falls were going strong.
