I see one map where the CSA owns a Hawaii that looks like real life Hawaii, but another map where another power owns a much larger island around where Hawaii would be. Does the CSA own Hawaii, or does someone else, and which version of Hawaii is the correct one?

Hawaii is, at least for now, a New Swiss possession; the 'larger than Hawaii' island chain you've noted is the New Swiss 'mainland'.

Hawaii is firmly a Swiss possesion and any attempt to change that status will be met with stiff resistance...

Thought the CSA is welcomed to try, I am sure CSA ships would make very nice artificial reefs...
