Random Romanian Football Game

When the band stepped onto the field at halftime, Princess Flowranis took the chance to look away and talk to Admiral Burestai.

"So, I heard we didn't get any of the French ships," she started off, almost accusingly.

"We didn't, but, on the other hand, they didn't really fit into our fleet too well. We did, however, secure a deal with the Eygptians about.." he replied, as he was cut off.

"How don't they fit into our fleet? Last I heard, they were the most modern cruisers in the world." she cut him off with.

"Well, we have a fleet based around a modern cruiser, some miscellanous destroyers and torpedo boats, and an old battleship. We have no need for overseas deployment, now that the mess with Masahri is gone for the books, and we simply don't need them. Our deal with the Eygptians means we're building the engines for six destroyers, and we get three of them...building up the core of our fleet for the expansion into bigger things," he said.

"I suppose...anyways, did you get the memo I sent you on the Dutch's offer?"

"I did....and I'm with you on that, your Majesty. I don't think we have a particular need to put our heads on the chopping block, and the RRC is still our ally, even if strains with them are fairly tenious...not the best idea," he replied, slowly turning his head back as the show began.
