Overall survivability and seakeeping ability:
Survivability (Non-critical penetrating hits needed to sink ship):
     4 152 lbs / 1 883 Kg = 55,8 x 5,3 " / 135 mm shells or 0,8 torpedoes
Stability (Unstable if below 1.00): 1,15
   Metacentric height 1,8 ft / 0,6 m
   Roll period: 13,4 seconds
   Steadiness   - As gun platform (Average = 50 %): 70 %
         - Recoil effect (Restricted arc if above 1.00): 0,43
   Seaboat quality  (Average = 1.00): 1,20

Hull form characteristics:
Hull has rise forward of midbreak
   Block coefficient: 0,542
   Length to Beam Ratio: 10,44 : 1
I hope I get away with this :)
'Natural speed' for length: 21,26 kts
Power going to wave formation at top speed: 58 %
   Trim (Max stability = 0, Max steadiness = 100): 58
Bow angle (Positive = bow angles forward): 0,00 degrees
   Stern overhang: 0,00 ft / 0,00 m
Freeboard (% = measuring location as a percentage of overall length):
      - Stem:      24,00 ft / 7,32 m
      - Forecastle (20%):   20,00 ft / 6,10 m
      - Mid (46%):      20,00 ft / 6,10 m (13,00 ft / 3,96 m aft of break)
      - Quarterdeck (15%):   13,00 ft / 3,96 m
      - Stern:      13,00 ft / 3,96 m
      - Average freeboard:   16,54 ft / 5,04 m

Ship space, strength and comments:
Space   - Hull below water (magazines/engines, low = better): 118,6%
      - Above water (accommodation/working, high = better): 105,1%
Waterplane Area: 13 557 Square feet or 1 259 Square metres
Displacement factor (Displacement / loading): 104%

Hull space for machinery, storage, compartmentation is cramped
Room for accommodation and workspaces is adequate
Ship has slow, easy roll, a good, steady gun platform

I KNEW the KKK worshiped the blood god! ;D

Pretty decent ship overall, hope it stays in the med.

didn't the IJN ships have all guns on the centerline? Or am I thinking of the wrong ships?

Borys

Ahoj!
There were two wing guns. Five on the centerline.
Will modify sim accordingly.
