Guinness DD boilderplate: Too slow, too heavily armed, too much freeboard, BC too low for a ship of this design.

Feel free to ignore me on this like everyone else does.  :P

Jefgte

This is not really a DD (too slow) but a kind of DE (Deffender - Protector)

Add more torpedoes...

9800nm@14!?! Too much range. Cut it to 5,000 @ 14 and put the savings into speed. 30kts is WAAAAAY to slow for a DD anymore.

As to the armament: I can swallow 6x125 I suppose, considering what your admirals see when they look towards Den Hague. At least you went with singles over twins to save on top weight, however I think it might be better to do a dropped aft deck w/ aXy twins. That way X is on the same level as a and y is down a deck aft. That would probably fit better too.

I'm not sure what you're doing, but I highly doubt that the trial speed would be 37.5 knots.

ledeper

You are right,my mistake :
Trial speed =33 knts
