A very cheap patrol boat for coastal work. The quarterdeck is empty so the boat can serve as a coastal minesweeper (with simple minesweeping equipment), VERY slow torpedo boat (with 2x14" torpedoes), or raider (with a squad of marines). The boat carries 1,000 lbs of 'signaling' equipment (rockets, and a mortar).

Another new ship. A specialized gunboat designed to protect minefields from being swept. Placed on top of said minefields it's job would be to destroy any minesweepers. It's very low draught means it ccan operate in minefields shallow enough to sink destroyers.

Also it is extremly cheap, so can be built in large numbers and very fast.

You've got very low BC for some rather slow ships.

I don't imagine 4 t will allow for more minesweeping kit than a couple of machine guns for shooting mines at the surface.

The scout balloon ought to be simmed as miscellaneous weight, since it's above the waterline and can more easily be broken out in the sim report.

I like the notion of the minefield gunboat's mission, and the torpedo-boat looks reasonably useful.

Low BCs tend to be one of my design quirks, just about all the ships I have designed (here and in WW) have low BCs.

A fishing rig and a line between two boats shouldn't be more than 4 tons. But yeah it wouldn't be a full sweeping rig.

The scout balloon is simmed using misc weight (80t vs 50t for regular Lavi), but some of the equipment to support it would be below the waterline, hence the note.

Which ships has insufficient hull strength? All are above 0.5 CS.

The Pegasus class is at .9 composite. The Ashmunein is at .9 composite. And both of those are about 750 tons.
