As those ships have the same lay-out as Superbe, the 2 Marats and the 4 Bretagnes, France has no reason not to have a go for them.

Also, dealings between Russia and "Evil" France in the past went well.

Glorious France is getting really interested now...

With 20 yo, a major rebuilt is too expensive in BP & $.
Armament is correct & typicaly Russian.
Protection is ...20 yo & correct for that kind of BB.

IMO, I just change engines & increase the speed to 23-24kts for some Russian BBs.

Bah I've said "Howdy" for ages, hardly a Texas-specific thing. More a western thing, though admittedly not commonly used by Californians for some reason.  :)
