Velikiy Knyaz Kirill Nikolaevitch Romanov speech to the nations

"We, the Ukrainians, are a nation of long standing traditions, and long history of peaceful coexistence between all people of different races, tribes and religions.
For centuries we embraced the ideals of Democracy. That is why I amended our laws.
Over one hundred years ago we were part of a Republic that no longer exist.
That Republic had a long lists of shortcomings however it main principles were sound.
Leaders were chosen for there merit not birth right.
That is why I will not appoint my successor It will be You the people who will choose him or her.
We are, as of now a constitutional monarchy with elected leaders.
It is my hope that this new amendment will benefit us for centuries to come.
You may ask me why, I chose too return to policies of a republic that many not feel that we are successors of.
I wish for us to remain united, and this is how I wish to straighten our unity.
As a ruler I'm am but a humble servant of my People. And as always I wish to serve to the best of my abilities."

OOC:
First part is that I'm now in charge of Ukraine.
Second is me trying to recreate a virtual carnival that Royal Elections were in Commonwealth of Poland and Lithuania.
If a historian wrote"this elections were peaceful, there were only 2 murders" then that was one fun experience.

Not much. But it just looks more impressive. It's like how Bernie Madoff got charged with 20,000 charges of fraud.

By international law he is a combatant by the fact that he wore uniform and hold arms of over 3 days. With those charges we will not grant this request.

With no declaration of war, he seized goverment property and murdered several seamen. Are you saying that international law states that I can declare war on you, without notice? Are pirate combatants, for we consider him a pirate, in a way?

Marek Gutkowski

In the interest of cooperation Ukraine propose a trial to be held by a neutral party.

OOC:
I will not drag this on.
I have too little understanding of intersim politics to try anything this early in the game, I'm still struggling with the rules, My first attempt at a sim report gave me headache. I still don't really know what I have to play with.

But you are 'mostly' caught up.
OOC:
Well its not like I don't have Bolsheviks of my own,or create some. I don't really need one more.

IC:
The men that are currently our guests are by our standards combatants, charge of piracy is invalid as too our knowledge they did not target civilian shipping. We have a long history of rebels and our century old laws say that if a citizen cannot found justice by lawful means he has the right to take up arms. The punishment for it is confiscation of wealth and outlawry. Not death.
