I just found an interesting article about the Huelsmeyer device from 1904 in the Warship Projects Discussion Boards which directs to radarworld.

Quite interesting to read. I didn't know about these early developments before.

Buschranger gave me that link in 2005, on Nverse II, to prove his idea of a direction/distance finder independend on light was feasable.

The result was the "secret tech tree" of N2.

2 mayor potential technologies on "rader" sprung from that. DKB's Huelsmeyer apparatus, and the French Berliner EARS.
