N-verse says otherwise... but in the same vein, the chances of a WWI submarine getting into position and pulling of a succesful attack on a warship in the high seas are about the same. How many 'fast' warships were sunk by submarines during WWI?

Sort of depends on your outlook, if you view the far cheaper sub as disposable then it donst realy have to kill the BB in question, just put a few torps into it and make it go back to porrt for repairs.
