For now, Rocky's design is winning. I'll probebly tinker with it a little bit, give it a extra 250 tons and see if I can get it up to 30 knots.

Desertfox

Using Romanian tech is the drawback that is keeping NS from entering. I could offer a Romaniazed version of the Manta class seen below, I would have to build it for you, but if your up for it.

I prefer to use the 5'' gun on my ships. It is a 1902 design, as opposed to a 1892 one, and has a better RoF.

Rocky...interesting. That could be built to civilian standards. And I would still have enough BP left over to build Carthginian's design. MWAHAHAHA....

Samchle. Sorry, lack of cash. I really, really like the design, but....wait. I don't have to expand my drydock to a Type 3. I may actually do a combination of your's and Rockies designs.

The Rock Doctor

Given the speed of the design I posted, I'm not sure civilian standards would be appropriate.  But that's to be determined.

I don't think you need anything more than a Type 2 slip/dock for any of the designs here...

TexanCowboy

I was actually planning on getting a Type 3 DD so that I could repair some designs I'm trying to get built aboard.

Winner judgeing time! Congragulations, DKB KK 1917-export and Attack Transport(if I can build it to mechantile standards). You are our lucky winners! I'll be doing a little work with the DKB cruiser to make it 5'' guns and not 4.72'', but it is still the winner!

The Confederate design was rejected because of the lack of speed. With the Ukrainian battlecruiser's, more speed was deemed nessasary. Also, the Romanian's do not have twin turrets for it.

The NUS design was rejected because of it's fairly weak armour compared to broadside. Also, Romania fails to have either quad turrets or 1918 engines, and the BC on this ship was deemed to be much too low. (.444?)

The Gran Columbian cruiser design was rejected because Romania lack's effective mines, and because the 6.5'' guns were deemed to have too slow of a turning rate for a non-powered mount.

The French design was rejected for similar reason's relating to the 6.5'' gun. The 6.5'' gun is deemed to not have enough of a turning speed to effectively sink fast, small ships. We also have concerns over the 4'' gun, which Romania doesn't have without scrapping the Pluches.

As if France won't  deliver enough 4" , 5.5" or 6.5" guns to last Romania a lifetime?

awww I had just decided Rohan could offer a Wind Class CL.  Oh well =P
