Why are you going from 13" to 16.25" and then down to 15" again?

Ahoj!
I'm afraid 42cm quads are too big ...
The twelve 15" give me a heavier broadside than the eight sixteen-and-a-quarter inch guns.
But I'll see what I can do with twelve 16,5" guns ...

The CSA plans for 1920....well, at least while I was there, I have no idea what Carthiginian has planned, were two fast battleships,(Same armour as preceeding class, but 27 knots), and with 9x16.5'' guns.

The 7.5" secondary and 6" tertiary batteries is decidedly retro. Wouldn't there be some concerns about effective fire control there?

The CSA is looking at something in this general size range... probably a knot or so slower than their contemporaries (as Confederate battleships generally are) but much more heavily armored and similarly armed.
So 'ere's to you, Fuzzy-Wuzzy, at your 'ome in old Baghdad;
