I need to make a distiction between my semi serious designs and my evil designs.
So, using the galley tool at http://www.rocketpunk-observatory.com/home.htm, I created my own little galley. It comes complete with a catapult.

Why mount quad Archers on such a small warship, it'sn't it a little early for so much AA?
And 120 shafts is simply out of the question !

You'll need mount and hoist for the catapult, and 100 tons fire control since you're not under destroyer rules.....

An EVIL idea by the CSA Naval Ayslum. In order to contract the Gran Columbian Airships, they stuck a single 13.5'' in the middle of the ship. It fires at the balloon, and the balloon explodes in a huge explosion of explosivness.

Ignore the AA warning, please, it's just a 13.5'' gun placed at a very high angle. Recoil is actually .35
without the AA gun.

EDIT: Because the bigger shell has a bigger explosion range and only requires one hit to take down?

Who knows? Maybe the airship will deflate out of sheer terror when this gun is aimed at it. :D

LOL...there's a reason I have Speculative designs, and EVIL designs. One is for the times where I honestly can't control myself. Another is for the semi-serious times.

A long barrel 8" smoothbore firing, fin stabilized, timed shotgun shells would probably be a better idea. Or 50 tons for a sopwith pup...
