Designed to master several different roles, the Imperial Class Battlecruiser will be the newest pride of the fleet.  Using the new 4.7" gun and the Rohan 14" L50 as its primary armament, the first two will be layed down in 1917 HY2.  One in Rohan and the other in Firenj City.

OOC: These vessels will be named after Star Wars Imperial class Star Destroyers.

I don't know... I don't think you have quite enough BP to attempt to build something like this... ;)

Lets see...34 months build time, rounded to 36 (3 Years), 4BP or so per HY, still leaves 2.5...I fail to see the problem?  That excludes scrapping old vessels.

Oh! I didn't read "in Rohan". Ok. Whatever floats your boat then.

I thought you were going to build both by yourself before. :D

I STILL don't think 6 guns is enough. Especially not on 24k+.

I do. It's similar to maddox's design earlier.

I actually agree...but I can't fit any more on without sacrificing something (or going over my tonnage limit).  In the end I decided it was better to build a 'balanced' 6 gun design.

Triple mounting? I know Rohan has some.

Already got tripples.

I think its suposed to use the Rohan 14/50 tripple

Oh, it is using triples... um...if you cut down the range, you could probebly fit it, and what does Firenj need a 15,000 mile range for?

Logi

True, I don't really see a scenario where the BC will near to sprint at 28 kts for 1,850nm either.

hooper82

Its standard Cruise speed is 18knots.  That gives it a range of 6000nm.  Which would enable it to leave from Firenj City, cruise to Kuzey Guard, Stay at battle speed for 6 hours, and then cruise home.

It also allows the IFN (Imperial Firenj Navy) to project power into the pacific region.
