The Five-Year Plan

Some of these goals might be a bit ambitious, but it is better to set high goals ;)

1) Increasing BP output from 8.5 ktons per half-year to 9.5 ktons.
2) Increasing IC from 44 to 46.

2) Laying 8,300 km of civilian rails divided like so.
  a) Shanghai - Wuhan - Nanchang - Changsha - Chongqing - Chengdu (2,110 km)
  b) Nanchang - Xiamen (520 km)
  c) Kunming - Chongqing (650 km)
  d) Kunming - Nanning - Guangzhou -- Macau AND Hong Kong (1,350 km)
  e) Guangzhou - Xiamen (500 km)
f ) Hengyang - Changsha (150 km) [There is already a Guangzhou - Hengyang rail in existence]
  g) Nanning - Zhangjiang - Guangzhou (620 km)
  h) Changsha - Hengyang - Shaoyang - Guilin - Nanning (850 km)
  i) Guilin - Duyun - Guiyang - Chongqing (800 km)
  j) Kunming - Mandalay (750 km)

3) Creation of a Wireless Tower in Guangzhou

4) Upgrade of Ports and Docks
    - Hong Kong : Central HK DD0 to DD1
    - Beilun : Up to Type 1 Port / DD0 to DD1 / Creation of DD0
    - Zhangjiang: Creation of a Slipway 0 and a DD0

5) Addition of Coastal Batteries at:
    - Macau
    - Zhangjiang
    - Xiamen
    - Shanghai

6) Creation of Paved Roads to and from major cities.

Your thoughts?

TexanCowboy

Only 1 problem that I noticed. I don't think that you can upgrade a DD0 to a DD3 in a Type 1 Port. Other than that, fairly ambitious. Do you have enough IC to build all of that BP?

Logi

I can do so. The port types only limit how MANY docks you can have in a port. There is nothing that limits the size of the said dock.

I have enough IC to build up to 11 BP currently. I expect that I will have enough IC by the time the plan finishes (as in the IC advances uniformly with BP production).

Yantai is Middle Kingdom.  As well as Qingdao.   (third coastal fortress overlooking an important MK DD hatchery is Dalian-inherited from the Russians)

Phoenix will point out some more of your MK investments, but I think she'll thank you for the recognition.

Ya know if you want to build in another country Logi you could always build in Rohan, The Mark wont complain trust me.

Ambitious but Its very good to Have Goals....

Lets See the Ports are Limited to the size of the Dry Dock or Slips they can Hold A Type 1 Port To Type 1 Slips and Dry Docks and you need a type 5 Port to Hold a Type 5 Dry Dock or Slip.

Question:  Is any of this Railway Purely Military in Purpose Like say that Railway Line you are Committed to Building from Kunming to the Burmese Border.   Thats going to cost BP and $ or atleast it did before those rules disapeared from the Infrastructure section ??????

The RRC/MK border at the coast is at the fishing villages of Yingzi and Hanjia,

QuoteThe port types only limit how MANY docks you can have in a port. There is nothing that limits the size of the said dock.

Actually if you read the rules, you will see that there is a limit as TC and CT pointed out.
QuoteType 0, up to type 0 slipways and/or dry-docks and maximum of 2, cost $5 and 0.5 BP
Type 1, up to type 1 slipways and/or dry-docks and maximum of 3, cost $15 and 2.0 BP
Type 2, up to type 2 slipways and/or dry-docks and maximum of 5, cost $30 and 3.0 BP
Type 3, up to type 3 slipways and/or dry-docks and maximum of 7, cost $45 and 4.0 BP
Type 4, up to type 4 slipways and/or dry-docks and maximum of 9, cost $60 and 5.0 BP
Type 5, up to type 5 slipways and/or dry-docks and maximum of 11, cost $80 and 6BP
... so the largest size of slip/dock you can put in a port is limited to the size of the port.

Some time ago, I realized that a pair of my slips/docks did not match the port so I corrected that so that the slip/dock would be the proper size for the port in question.

The Emperor wishes to thank the wayward children for the repayment of damages by constructing railways on the line Jinan - Qingdao - Weihai - Yantai (600 km), a wireless tower in Golmud, and coastal batteries at Yantai.

Sounds to me like someone was tricked by the Evil French. ;D

The Rock Doctor

It's always good to have plans.

In order to get up to 12.5 BP, you'll also need to add 7 IC if the 4:1 ratio is to be maintained.  I expect that this and the BP would be in excess of what your own economy can fund in five years, in which case you may be seeking foreign capital.

The rest of the work seems reasonable, and the port issue has been identified.

TexanCowboy

You could do it if you drawed into your military budget.

A few rought calculations

Your need to Build 3.5Bp Cost $1050
You Need to Build 7.0 IC  Cost $525
Total Cost: 1575

Over the Next 5 Years your Civilian Economy will Produce
$550

You need $1025 of Foreign Investment.
