With the Italian and UNK influence and the effects seen on the Kolkatan field of war, France commited a large sum of money on gaining an effective airforce.

The first aircraft in function are mainly Italian planes. The mainstay delivered at Gravelines Airbase. But more airbases are in build.

Currently France operates military aircraft from following bases.

Airbase Gravelines. The first JAC base. Still in full expansion.
50 scoutplanes active, 30 in reserve.

Airfield Haida, in Kolkata, a temporary airfield, trown together during the 4 month Kolkata campagne. The aircraft there are manned by mixed crews of the Garibaldi escadron. The monsoon proves to be a bad thing for the wooden and fabric aircraft.
This leaves only 20 aircraft of HY 01 1916 available there.

The Marseilles Airbase. A landing field, and shelters for crews and planes are erected in HY02 1916.

Current inventory of modern military aircraft end 1916.
