There are 3 designs here.  1,500 ton TBD Leader, a 1,000 ton destroyer and a 250 ton coast defense destroyer.  I will work on some patrol boats and perhaps some type of mine hunter design.

A Sub hunting design.  Not sure how many if any I might build but its what I came up with.

The Rock Doctor

It looks like it'd be a useful as a convoy escort, but is DD FC a useful investment for two 75mm guns?

maddox

I dare to say that FC's a waste of resources.

Unless nefarious future plans are brewing in the fertile mind of Miketr.

Max firepower I can fit on the hull without additional changes.

Why not more  105's or 75's?  Then FC could come in handy, with only main 2 guns it's not ideal.

miketr

OK same weapon setup as a 1,000 ton DD.

Check your torpedo diams in the SS itself. The 1500 tonner says it's carrying 20" torps, not 21" as specified in your Misc weight list. This doesn't matter much, but will matter a little for stability and space calculations.
