To be honest, more a case of "lets see how fast I can make a DD, and still keep it usefull".
But attacking fast ships is a consideration, but I will most likely cut her speed my at least 0,5 kts, as that allows for at least a 1/3 increase in range.
Still it would still be enough to be a danger to anything, and her firepower is not bad.

Sweet.  Probably a very delicate little hull, but sweet nonetheless.

Finally something to  my liking :)

Right as a seaboat she in nothing to hang in the christmas tree, but small and well-armed.
A singe torpedo tube in the forecastle, and a triple tube array aft. The guns got enough armour to keep out bullets (both MG and shrapnel).

And finally, a 3rd candidate; 100ton.
Again sea boat ratio have taken a back seat in favour of "hard" capability.
Main selling point is that she is very cheap to build.
However the 75 ton version above might perhaps be a better deal?

I like the 1500 ton designs - esp the Very Rapid TB version - makes a great speedboat  ;D

Would the Gun version benefit from more Gun shield armour - even at expense of 1 twin 120mm?

eltf177

The 100-ton version is listed as having three TT's but only two tons miscellaneous weight.
