White Army ( HQ : Heliopolis ) :

- 1 Baseline 4/2.0 infantry corps ( Cairo )
- 1 Baseline 4/2.0 infantry corps ( Alexandria )
- 1 Baseline 4/1.0 desert corps ( Al Bawiti )
- 1 Baseline 4/1.0 desert corps ( Bur Safaga )
- 1 Advanced 5/1.5 cavalry corps ( Aswan )

Red Army ( HQ : Omdurman ) :

- 1 Baseline 4/2.0 infantry corps ( Port-Sudan )
- 1 Baseline 4/1.0 desert corps ( El-Fasher )
- 1 Advanced 5/1.5 cavalry corps ( Khartoum )

Chagos Special Command :

- detachment of the infantry corps of Port-Sudan
