This is the 1914 class DD; the 1915s are slightly different to look at, but very close mechanically and in terms of layout.

Nice drawing & original armament disposition.

I knew it had been done on BBs, and I didn't see any reason why it couldn't provide equal benefit to a destroyer. ^_^

Quote...I didn't see any reason why it couldn't provide equal benefit to a destroyer.

Why... because a destroyer is a small boat in comparison with a BB & the seaboat quality is not so good with this kind of ship.

IMO, armament for a DD must be protected from heavy sea.

In your design, side guns could be tear off by heavy sea.
I place these side guns, too exposed, to nearly centerline position.
The protection from the bridge is welcome.

They're considerably less exposed to wave action than the 'A' turret position, and those are, AFAIK, universal. The boats, I agree, might well be lost, but a turret, even just an enclosing weather shield like these, are more substantial and better-anchored propositions... And, with the entire working crew contained inside, I'm not liable to lose random crewmen in every blow.

Those are enclosed mounts.
That should be reflected in the SS file.

And, if those are Southern Water proof, those should be the splinter-armored  version.

Is 10mm not enough?

...The protection from the bridge is welcome.
& you increase the angle of firing on opposite side.

10mm would protect against anything but the worst seas.  So that angle is covered.
