Hello All,

My Kids are both sick and need extra attention and as a result this weeks installment of the Calcutta War will be delayed a day or two.

Kids trump Kolkata.  Hopefully they'll be up and demanding your attention in the usual ways soon enough.

War could wait.

Kids first.
Rapid recovery for them.
"You French are fighting for money, while we English are fighting for honor!"
"Everyone is fighting for what they miss. "

Our prayers for their fast recovery.
Hopefully they'll be laughing again in no time.
So 'ere's to you, Fuzzy-Wuzzy, at your 'ome in old Baghdad;
You're a pore benighted 'eathen but a first-class fightin' man;
We gives you your certificate, an' if you want it signed
We'll come an' 'ave a romp with you whenever you're inclined.

Thanks for the kind thoughts... Kids have generic sore throat; not strep throat so just need time, fluids and lots of rest.

Most of things are typed up for the next post.  I need to wait for the mods to sign off on things and do one more bit on an attempt to use airships as bombers.

This will conclude land fighting for this half as the Monsoon has arrived and no one is doing anything but attempting avoid drowning in a sea of MUD.

Dates covered April 1st to April 21st.

And yet it has come early in Nverse 1916. Possibly the fairly notable differences in our geography have affected this relatively small matter of climate.

As noted the Monsoons normally arrive later but they arrived early this year.  Sucks to be Bharat...

Indeed, when the monsoone hit two weeks early in 2008 it was the earliest mosoon since 1899. The Nverse 1916 monsoon is seven weeks early...
