Nicely shoehorned in.

Thanks for vid clip of Repulse - hadn't seen that one before - she looks great blasting away, splendid WW2 propaganda stuff - but seems to sit a bit low in the heavy swell

On the design - (main belt doesn't fully cover, bit of unarmoured end) are the belt lengths as intended?

Walter

Not sure if I will build such a vessel here. One of the versions of the Ise that I have features a Repulse layout. It lacks Repulse speed and has a lot of armor.

Here is the IJN version of Repulse which I designed back in 2006 for Wesworld. Maybe I should recycle this one for Navalism. :)

A little SS mistake... not a problem, I could increase the lenght of the belt to 164m.

QuoteIt has a transom stern on it, couldn't build it here even if you wanted to.
A) It is a 1933 design.
B) Transom stern is there for the Hain Mat System for the recovery of float planes while the ship is moving.

maddox

A tad bigger than the IRL version, but that can be see as the result of the added bulges during the first refit in 1921.
I must say , I like her. But the larger Montmedy fills the role better for Nverse France.

Nice - I like Echec

Wouldn't she be great to police the Colonies - show the flag - put down the natives (can still say that in 1916?!)

And to trump her the opponent has to really show their hand ...

- or am I mixing up chess with card games? :D

Quote...Is this the start of Peru's BC squadron?

With 220m dry docks & slipways, Peru couldn't built 28000t BC but 30-32kts ACs or 24-27kts ECs.
