OK people you will need to put your thinking cap on for these...

Requirements

Max of 250 or 333 or 500 light tons
Armed with 37mm or 57mm or 105mm
Laydown date of 1909: Engine Year 1909  (90% coal fired)
Speed At least 27 Knots
Torpedoes 17.7" / 450mm weapons
Range Atleast 2,000 @ 10 knots
Seakeeping no lower than 8.0
Misc weight: Enough for torpedo's

The Bharat navy is going to get a max of 1 BP a half and they have a long coast line which means tin cans.  I will also build some gun boats for them...  But for their "offensive" punch its going to be pure coast defense TB's till they can buy something OR get some BP... perhaps both...

Good speed, good range (for a ship this size).
Torpedo arrangement is identical to the Dutch KTB-3 type, two torpedoes on a turntable behind the funnel, and a single fixed one in the forecastle.

A 50% reduction in range (2000nm @ 10kts) would give a 1 knot increase in top speed, but given the length of Bhrats coastline the longer legs was considered more valuable.

There were three obsolete Orange battleships (LD 1886-ish) in N2verse that were sold to third parties but disappeared in the transition. Rocky was willing to allow 'transfer' them to Bharat and Persia (say 2 and 1), so they still might have them - cca. 8000t, 4x10", 16kts but I don't have the SS for them. That was before the current turmoil.

Edit: I found the SS that I made a few months ago on the ship

This is out of competition, as it is too small, too slow and too short-legged.
That said it is not a bad little torpedo boat.

Foxy if you could make the following changes to your 450 ton TB design.

1) Make the 57mm superfiring.
2) Ditch the 37mm weapons and put four 12.5mm MG's instead.
3) Reduce the number of torpedo tubes to four.
4) Increase the size to 500 light even; perhaps a little more range?

I think its yours and Korpen's 250 ton boat...

I may build a mix of 250 and 500 ton designs with the the larger ones being the ocean going boats and division leaders for the small fry.
