M/09 Family of shells.

35cm
M/09 Shrapnel: 560kg, contains 2200 150g balls.
Two shells issued per gun (stored in turret), for close in defence against enemy torpedoboots.

M/05: HE 600kg shell, nose-fuze 45kg bursting charge

M/09 SAP: 600kg, base fuze, 38kg bursting charge.

M/09 APC, 600kg shell, base fuze 20,2kg bursting charge.
Standard shell for engaging armoured enemy ships.

All the live rounds contain a dye bag in the ballistic cap, this to aid spotters in identifying the fall of shells from the own ship.

M/09 Target practise round. 600kg cast iron, identical ballistic performance as the APC round. The shell is fragile, and contains 4L of dye for ease of identification of landing.
