   Fuel, ammunition & stores: 14.225 tons, 25,7%
   Miscellaneous weights: 19.200 tons, 34,7%

Overall survivability and seakeeping ability:
Survivability (Non-critical penetrating hits needed to sink ship):
     118.103 lbs / 53.571 Kg = 1.410,6 x 5,5 " / 140 mm shells or 15,9 torpedoes
Stability (Unstable if below 1.00): 1,10
   Metacentric height 6,5 ft / 2,0 m
   Roll period: 17,4 seconds
   Steadiness   - As gun platform (Average = 50 %): 80 %
         - Recoil effect (Restricted arc if above 1.00): 0,11
   Seaboat quality  (Average = 1.00): 2,00

Hull form characteristics:
   Hull has a flush deck
   Block coefficient: 0,723
   Length to Beam Ratio: 8,10 : 1
'Natural speed' for length: 29,15 kts
Power going to wave formation at top speed: 40 %
   Trim (Max stability = 0, Max steadiness = 100): 40
Bow angle (Positive = bow angles forward): 10,00 degrees
   Stern overhang: 0,00 ft / 0,00 m
Freeboard (% = measuring location as a percentage of overall length):
      - Stem:      40,00 ft / 12,19 m
      - Forecastle (20%):   39,00 ft / 11,89 m
      - Mid (50%):      39,00 ft / 11,89 m
      - Quarterdeck (15%):   39,00 ft / 11,89 m
      - Stern:      39,00 ft / 11,89 m
      - Average freeboard:   39,08 ft / 11,91 m

Ship space, strength and comments:
Space   - Hull below water (magazines/engines, low = better): 74,7%
      - Above water (accommodation/working, high = better): 300,8%
Waterplane Area: 73.009 Square feet or 6.783 Square metres
Displacement factor (Displacement / loading): 183%
Structure weight / hull surface area: 138 lbs/sq ft or 672 Kg/sq metre

Hull space for machinery, storage, compartmentation is excellent
Room for accommodation and workspaces is excellent
Ship has slow, easy roll, a good, steady gun platform
Excellent seaboat, comfortable, can fire her guns in the heaviest weather

19200tons of misc weight.

17000 tons=8500 soldiers.
2000 tons. 8 Peniches+ cranes to unload them
100 tons cruiser FC
50 tons, set of ears
50 tons command center.

The Rock Doctor

It might be tough to fit in the landing craft and ship's boats if there are forty gun mounts lining the sides...

maddox

True.

I'm adjusting.
Compared to the original.
Draught reduced by 2 feet, freeboard increased with 2 feet, trim adjusted and the armament adapted to give more room for the boats and Peniches.
Engines adjusted to 1912 standard, with 20K hp ech shaft, speed reduced to 24kts.
The oil firing increased the range to 12k nm @ 20 kts.
