.96 is to high your at the point where vary little damage can limit you to end on fire, Id recomend trying for somthing in say the .75 range

I consider adequet recoil margin to be - at worst - in the 70s.
As you lose stability due to damage, your recoil margin decreases. Thus a ship with 0,99 is limited to ends-on fire after being sneezed at.
Or so I was told by old-timers on other boards.

Mount and hoists are limited to 2" shield, 1" other above deck, and 3 below deck.

The thinner shield to represent the power issues for moving all that mass.
