P3D

Pretty straightforward design. I'd add a few tenths of knots to speed so it won't be nominally slower than the KWII class if they are supposed to operate together.
I'd dispense with coal firing, DKB does not have large coal deposits to justify it. Might have some in Vaterland, though, but there's some oil there, too.

14 guns in hull casemates - Limited use in heavy seas
... since the midbreak is at 73 %.

If you use regular casemates without lowering the guns, they would look something like on Japan's Kawachi class BBs...

I would also sim the main guns as 3x2 'majority aft' and 1x2 'amidship'... but that is just me.

I Love the drawomg and her fire power and I'll take 2....*reaches for wallet*

Something the KKK could use.
OTL New Zealand has ample coal deposits.

P3D: The KWII's are 22.86kts so these are faster, if only barely.

Walter: Good catch on the casemates. And nice looking ship ya got there yourself.

CT: Thanks   ;)

So I kept, SOME coal firing. It's more about being able to use whats available. If I get cut of from oil I still can run on coal.

Here's an updated SS file.

I follow the same philosphy with my ships which are to operate outside the Med - a mix of coal and oil.
I suppose that I will use this turret arrangement for my next class of battleships.

I went with this as although it's less turrets than KWII, they're bigger guns (35cm compared to 30.5cm) So less is more.

Thanks. I used a few existing parts (armament, screws) from Wesworld BBs to create the ship. The rest was drawn while looking at a number of other ships (Canada, Hyuga, Kongo).

Another revision.
Ersatz H, Brandenburg Schlachtschiff laid down 1913 (Engine 1912)

Displacement:
   24,850 t light; 26,127 t standard; 27,905 t normal; 29,327 t full load
Looks good.
The secondary battery is impressive, personally I do not much care for the mix of 10cm and 15cm guns, think she would do better with a few more 15cms instead of the 10s (with a few 88s as gravy). But it seems to be a DKB "thing" I guess.

QuoteDirect drive, 4 shafts, 51,808 shp / 38,649 Kw = 23.33 kts
Interesting, most of the time one either goes for even knot number, or even shp number, I think it is bold to go for neither. :)

Here's the "as built" version. Same light weight and the SHP is a nice even 52,000...OK Korpen?

Nice drawing & well ballanced BB.

Just a question:
Boilers places  - OK
But, I don't understand where are the turbines...under the lifeboats ?

Look up..see new pic. And I suppose the turbines are where ever they would be on a Kaiser Class BB in RL ..since it's basically the same layout except mine has a single "Q" turret and larger caliber while Kaiser has two en echelon midships turrets and smaller guns.
