But when doinig catching up i have not indulged in deals.

The only problem I see is that the army buildup (4 new corps, and modernization) should have caused a similar one on the Swiss side of Australia. Tanthalas haven't increased its army, which was more or less adequate for a defensive war. Now it is perfectly justified for him to retcon his builds and increase his army side accordingly.
