Russia's History follows our timeline up to the 1890's.

August 6th, 1894: Grand Duchess Xenia and Grand Duke Alexander marry.

November 1st, 1894: Czar Alexander III dies, Nicholas II reluctantly becomes Czar.

November 26th, 1894: Wedding of Czar Nicholas II and Alexandra Fedorovna, many bad omens.

May 13th, 1896: Coronation of Nicholas II, more bad omens.

May 18th, 1896: The Khodynka Tragedy(resulting in the deaths of 1,389 people).

August 9th, 1899: The death of Grand Duke George Alexandrovich, the Czar is devastated blaming himself and begins to withdraw from the pulbic eye.

November 21st, 1899: Nicholas II abdicates in favour of Grand Duke Mikhail, the next Emperor of all the Russias.

November 25th, 1899: 3 days after his 21st Birthday, Mikhail becomes Czar.

January 9th, 1903: 'Bloody Sunday'. Considered to be the starting date of the 'Time of Troubles'.

October 17th, 1903: Mikhail II issues the 'October Manifesto'. 
The Manifesto addressed the unrest in Russia and pledged to grant civil liberties to the people: including personal immunity, freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, and freedom of association; a broad participation in the State Duma; introduction of universal male suffrage; and a decree that no law should come into force without the consent of both the State Duma and the Boyar Duma.
This document placed massive constraints on the power of the nobility of Russia and removed much of thier wealth and land. The nobles named it 'The Madness of Mikhail'.

November 4th, 1903: Mikhail II terribly wounded in Crimean Bombing.

December 24th, 1903: Grand Duke Vladimir Alexandrovich usurpts the crown.

January 1st, 1904: With the support of the Boyars, Vladimir II reverses the 'October Manifesto'. Resulting in massive protesting and peasant revolts.

January 26, 1904: Sensing Russia's weakness, Japan with New Swiss intrigues and support, attack Port Arthur. Thus begins the Russo-Japanese War.

October ?, 1904: Baltic Fleet sets sail for the Far East.

May 10th, 1905: Ukraine succeeds from Imperial Russia, followed quickly by Poland, Kazahkastan, Belarus and Finland. Vladimir II powerless to stop it.

May 27th, 1905: Battle of Tsushima. Brilliant Victory for Japan.

June 8th, 1905: Treaty with Ukraine. Russia accepts Ukrainian sovereignity and full autonomy in exchange for military assistance and the acceptance of Vladimir II's son, Grand Duke Cyril Vladimirovich of Russia, to the Ukrainian Throne.

August 23rd, 1905: Treaty of Portsmouth. Russia unable to cope with the continuing Revolution concedes a great amount of land, and primacy of the Japanese Forces.

October 9th, 1905: Grand Duke Nicholas Nikolaevich forces Vladimir II, at gunpoint to reinstate the revised 'October Manifesto'.

October 12th, 1905: Vladimir II abdicates throne and flees to Ukraine.

October 18th, 1905 'Royal Committee' formed.

November 27th, 1905: Grand Duchess Xenia Alexandrovna elected to be Tsarina(or Empress as she prefers).

December 7th, 1905: The Grand Duchy of Finland returns to Imperial Russia as a sort of Commonwealth with nearly full autonomy under the leadership of Grand Duke Alexander Mikhailovich Husband of Empress Xenia.

May 5th, 1906: Last official Socialist resistance to Imperial Russia's rule. This date marks the official end of 'The Time of Troubles'.
