I started developing 275mm guns because I was contemplating something rather similar.  I was even looking at the same name for a ship, since it'd be a Jamaican boat.

the Pships were its insperation, although im not 100% sold on her just yet (id like 30 kts), Rock Avenger is just a working name (if I build em ill name em more along traditional cruiser type names aka city names)

IDK It was more for aperance purposes than anything, I always have a lowerd Quarterdeck.  Not etha tit can be raised to a flush deck ship with no negitive effects.  anyone else think its to low? I may have to do a bit of research to see.

IMO SS2 underestimates the freeboard needed for longer ships. Look at historical designs, freeboard was usually much higher than what SS2 deems sufficient for 'good seaboat' rating.
For destroyers it is the opposite.

Also, which engine tech does NS have? Are you limited to 20,000 SHP?
