The BB has too shallow draught and too long and beamy. Do you have a requirement for it to be < 8m?

Rules allow turreted 6" in 1921 earliest.

The AC is much better balanced, but. The hull is very narrow and very fine, IMO the triple 340mm turrets would not fit there (Panzerschiff: 71' beam). Same on the 6" turrets.

Range should be increased. Both scouting  for the battleline, or independent operations, would require longer range compared to a battleship.
The first purpose of a warship is to remain afloat. Anon.
Below 40 degrees, there is no law. Below 50 degrees, there is no God. sailor's maxim on weather in the Southern seas

The BB is nicely inside the rules concerning beam ratio 6.5/1.
She's narrow compared to the French BB's.
The length, only dockspace is the limiting factor there, she takes a type 3 dock.
And about draught,  the designers of her could be worrying over certain areas where the ships could be used.
Or, maybe certain docks for Peru aren't as deep.
