Hello,

Here is what I have been upto lately, when I get spare time.

I think #2 should get me the ugly ship award!
"The black earth was sown with bones and watered with blood... for a harvest of sorrow on the land of Rus'. "

Tanthalas

I was thinkin it looked kinda Classy tbh
"He either fears his fate too much,
Or his desserts are small,
Who dares not put it to the touch,
To win or lose it all!"

#2
I like number 2.

This is how I see her.
Pity she doesn't carry FC, but the weight for that is allocated in this design

Just awesome. These raise the bar for your fellow illustrators around here.

I like the second one. It's different, but still looks right for the period, and very British. She's a monitor I'm guessing?

Blooded

Hello,

Yes, Its planned as a coastal defense/escort ship, similar to what Maddox simmed.  I am still working on it. I'll send the file.

On #2.

25' is a bit too large draught for a CDS. Due to to hull lines, I doubt you could fit four shafts (not if you really need it). Such a huge midships break would result in a very weak hull.
The first purpose of a warship is to remain afloat. Anon.

What would be a good draught? 22? 20? Had not thought about hull strength, ooops.

The Rock Doctor

Awesome drawings, even if I don't understand the logic behind the CDS layout.  I think with that low freeboard aft, you'd end up taking water aboard on the open ocean.

What are stats on the torpedoboat?

Blooded

Here is the Torpedo Boat, it is listed in the UNK Section, I have built quite a few. The other two were still undergoing work. As to the Coastal Defence Ship, I had wanted to get the smallest displacement that could load 4x15". It let me keep the belt small, but still gave some seakeeping and steadiness.
