A question for Foxy specifically:  are NS reports from the First Pacific War accurate in terms of numbers and types of MK ships sunk in various battles?  Or did you inflate the numbers for propaganda purposes?

Desertfox

I don't quite recall. Send me the reports and I'll be able to tell you.

I don't have them - they'll be in the news archive, no doubt, but I've only looked at the Middle Kingdom posts so far.

Desertfox

Hmm... let me see if I have them. I do know that Constitution alone sank around 5+ MK Coastal Battleships.

IMO just give some tonnage for VU to play with.
The first purpose of a warship is to remain afloat. Anon.

Something else to consider, the MK got quite a few ex-Russian ships and from what Walter said about his (Japan) they would be mostly crewed by non-Chinese. So I would suggest giving most of the Chinese built ships to the MK, with the non-Chinese ships probably defecting to the other side.

I've just split them up randomly.  No additional tonnage between 1909 and 1912 - all being consumed in making up troop and ammunition losses from either 2PW or the civil war.
