I'm not the most experienced person, but here goes. Isn't 11" belt too much? Even the Iowas were only 7.5" and they were to withstand their own 16" guns. The ship is also excessively huge for its firepower and displacement, I also think 100 shells is a tad too small for such a ship. Of course after seeing that no one mentioned that, I must be in the wrong... *Goes depressed in a corner*

Logi

Ah just remembered... The Iowas had 7.5" deck and 11.5" belt...
I retain my arguement that ships seem undergunned for its size. Which it seems to make up with its speed compared with other ships.

You keep fighting that way, I'll conserve my bullets  ;)
Somehow, I like that my ridicously oversized ship can down your Battleship in 1 shot  :D

Tanthalas

LOL Logi many of my previous BBs had a 12" belt and 12" guns and that ship isnt oversized for its firepower at all I actualy took the USS Alaska shrunk it a tad backdated her and added one more gun.  and now a serious ship

You are putting way too many AA guns on the ships. 4 MGs are really all you need right now.

The DD looks pretty good. Long legged, fast, and good seakeeping, definately Swiss. She is undergunned and NS uses 19.7" torpedoes (a one off calibre since everything else is English), also no 20mm guns, instead NS has 40mm and 50cal. If you could stuff in another 3 4" guns (Hawkins style), she would make a real nice destroyer leader.

I like the DD over all...  other than the two many AAA.  Whats the break down on the Misc Weight?  If you could some how squeez more out of the hull you might be able to afford a DD fire control set.

I could proly get a tad more out of the hull I was trying to not get a "not enough deckspace" message like all my old ones got ^.^

A 330'x30' destroyer with 5x5" guns:

There should be enough space to squeeze in 3 more 4" guns. It's tight but possible.

Is DD firecontrol worth it? With 4" guns, it's probably more deadweight than actually useful.

Suggestion: Write a quick list over NS guns, it should go fast for someone familiar with the NS, and be helpful for a new player.

Hull form characteristics:

Thought it was something strange with a ship being that fast with so little shp.
Transoms are still not ok, and springsharp stops working if BC goes below 0,38

Apart from the BC and being too slaw, the ship looks OK.
4x4" on a fast ship that size is OK in my eyes.

Your block co-efficient needs to be at least 0.38, and probably more like .40.  You've also got insufficient cross-sectional hull strength...
