OOC: Just a few important ones here. If someone ever tries to play Eire, this will be handy.

Presidents are restricted to four-year terms and only the capable (proven ability in leadership) are allowed to be candidates.

Board members do not change until one of the following:
(*) The standing member dies, leaving the spot vacant.
(*) A more capable person appears.
(*) Dissent with the standing member is high. He has shown himself incompetent. This lowers his standing in the meritocracy.

There is Free Press, Freedom of speech, etc. The basic rights guaranteed by the IRL American constitution.

Eire is paranoia of the UNK, with good reason. Its very strong, across the water, and has a history of *cough* looking *cough* at Ireland. The 1913 deals were a forward step in the two's relations, but the negligence on the UNK's part of the deal from then forth has earned no respect from Eire. The Netherlands has posed itself as an open friend and is warmly welcomed, though not allied. Eire has been relatively withdrawn elsewhere.
