Ahoj!

The N-verse border runs along the 52 parallel, with divergence on Pacific side on account of the coastline.
The thin red line is the Punta Arena Rio Gallegos Eisenbahn Gesselschaft, or PARGEG for short. The extensions to the south and west are to coal mines.
The line is in gauge of 2'6", two and a half feet, 30 inches, or 762mm. Aka Bosnian Gauge.
The line is constructed to heavy duty standard, capable of runing cars up to 5 tonnes.

The map may be a bit misleading, as it suggests that the are hugging the coast. In fact, the line runs a couple of miles away from the shore, to prevent shelling by warships and to make raids more difficult.
