All those drawings are in the same scale, yes.
Scale is 1 pixel = ~25cm
Stared using that scale for most drawings, so all the Frigates, Sloops, destroyers and all but the oldest BBs are drawn in that scale now.

I never drew a single ship until I jumped into this. Give it a try. I use the Gimp (which is an opensource bitmap editor). There's a windows installer if you want to try it.

Hmmmmm... Gimp you say?  Is there a set of tools or templates available for the weapons or are they all custom done?  It would give me something to do while I am sitting at my weekend obligations...

Shipbucket has some good stuff (side view anyway) if you want to work in 1 foot = 2 pixels scale. Here's a link to their "things that help drawing section":

As I understand it, they don't bother borrowing from other's drawings as long as you give them attribution. The shipbucket contributors have a stringent set of rules about format, etc. if you actually want to contribute to the collection, so I haven't gotten into that yet.

But as far as I know, the stuff on those parts illustrations may be fair game, for non-commercial purposes at least.

Personally, I refer to shipbucket illustrations a lot, but have only ever used one of their anchors and a whaleboat. Everything else I've managed to draw myself, so far.
