The guns are of two different designs; one is built by Cockerill, based on a Krupp design
(Identical in performance to the, Belgian 75mm Model 1905 Field Gun http://www.landships.freeservers.com/belgian_75mm_mod05_walkaround.htm )

However, while the gun is new, more weight of shell has been asked for. And in response to this FN have developed an 84mm field gun, with a horizontally sliding breach block (as have almost all Dutch guns) a hydro pneumatic recoil system, and a range of  6,5km with a 8,2kg shell (so its ballistic performance is identical with the British 18 pdr MkII).

This gun have entered service with the European units of the army as they got upgraded to adv status.

The other quite radical design is a new and very radical design, originally designed by colonel Deport (Retired), and now under manufacture by the royal gun foundries in Singapore. The gun is arguably the first one in the world with a split trail. The great elevation this provides is considered particularly usefull on the very hilly islands in Asia.
Its designation is the 77mm Deport Model 1909 Field Gun.
It only differs from the real world Deport by having a 77mm calibre and a sliding wedge breech block instead of a screw mechanism.

It is now the standard field gun in all the colonial forces, also used by the marine for its ground troops.

Both 77mm guns use the same semi-fixed ammunition. The rounds are delivered fixed, but can be split and part of the charge removed, this to provide more flexibility in mountainous terrain. The shrapnell shell weigh 6,5kg.

The standard 105mm field howitzer is a Bofors design (10,5cm Haubits m/10), manufactured by Cockerill.
