After viewing Peru by satellite, I have decided to update the infrastructures.
There are no changement about Drydocks & slipways
Same type, quantity & size.

I replace them after studying Peru coast by satellite (splendid!!!)

Ahoj!
Iquitos is on the Amazon. And only 150 metres or so above sea level. In the wet season you can bring vessels with 8 metres draught there. In the dry season - 4 or 5 metres with 100-120 metres lenght.

In ship construction & upkeep

"Riverboat construction

Small gunboats - up to 200t displacement - for inland lakes and rivers can be constructed without any dedicated infrastructure. Their BP cost is halved to reflect construction using local material (wood).

For larger vessels, a level 0 harbor and slipway must be built on the river/lake."

---------------------
Iquitos built small river military craft inf to 200t.
Not a coastal or high sea Fleet.

OK - I don't remember the elevation of Iquitos. But you can base cruisers there ...
If you don't want to build a secret High Sees Fleet there, too bad :D

Certainly not.

Cruisers are for Battle Squadron in Pacific not for Amazone river.
For Amazone, just a few light guns boats.

From a Mod point of view, I have no strong objection to this proposed re-organization; if anybody else does, they should speak up.

Watch out for those Gra Colombian battleships ...

Any notion of river battleships disappeared with the Southern Cross agreement.  Though I was eyeballing some of those Soviet armored gunships as inspiration.
