Reliant? As long as you make the ammunition yourself, there is not really anything one needs from the supplier unless the gun explodes or otherwise is totally destroyed. And even then it is a matter of debate, as we have included things such as re-lining (or barrel replacement) in the upkeep of a ship, so some spare barrels or liners can be assumed to be included.
